Did I waste my time and money?
Three years ago, I had a goal to study social science in college and attend university after that. Unfortunately it took me more than two years like I thought and I realized university wasn't what I wanted and I wasn't cut out for it. So now I changed my field of studies and next semester I'm going to be in the adult and youth correctional intervention program (similar to the one I liked before => criminology). It will take three more years of college before I can get my college diploma. I feel like I wasted my time in something I didn't like plus not obtaining my diploma for social science because I failed the last class I needed. So when I will be working in a few years do you think my experience in the social science program will be relevant/useful (around 33 courses, most psychology oriented but no diploma as I said because I didn't pass the last one) if I want to be a correctional officer or something similar to a social worker or did I just waste my time? Any input or opinion would be appreciated thanks.
