How in-demand are criminal justice employees?

I'm working on my BA in Psychology and am considering picking up a minor in criminal justice. After some research, I found that correctional counselors often have bachelor's degrees in criminal justice, psychology, etc. I'm just wondering how many jobs there are to be had in the criminal justice field. Is it any harder finding these jobs than any other jobs?
