Do Correctional Officer in the State of Virginia wear badges?

I know that most facilities do not allow badges because of contraband and inmate issues, but im wondering if there are any Va facilities that allow them? What about the use of a fire arm? I have interest in pursuing a career in DOC and would like to know. Thank you.
